Orlando Summer League roundup: Kelly Olynyk leads Celtics over Pacers; Victor Oladipo scores 22

With four games scheduled for Wednesday, there was plenty of action on the hardwood as the dog days of summer approach. Kelly Olynyk continued to play well, Victor Oladipo scored 22 and a couple of other first round prospects shined.

Celtics edge Pacers behind Olynyk

The young Celtics continued to dig in on the defensive end for the second game in a row, picking up the 76-74 victory over Indiana. Olynyk had 21 points, nine rebounds, four assists and zero turnovers on 9-for-19 shooting. Tony Mitchell played well on his way to 15 points and five boards. Boston shot 43.8 percent from the field and held Indiana to just 36.4 percent, including 5-for-23 from deep.

Solomon Hill continued to play well for the Pacers will a well-rounded 15-point, four-rebound, three-assist and three-steal performance. Last year's first round pick, Miles Plumlee, had an efficient nine points and seven rebounds.

The Celtics are now 2-1, while Indiana drops to 1-2.

Reggie Jackson's 35 leads Thunder

The Oklahoma City Thunder improved to 3-0 this summer following their 79-75 win over the Pistons. Reggie Jackson scored 23 of his 35 points in the fourth quarter while Steven Adams scored 11 points and brought down six rebounds.

As for the Pistons, who dropped to 1-2 with the loss, first-round pick Kentavious Caldwell-Pope shined with 19 points and six rebounds, going 4-for-10 behind the three-point arc. Andre Drummond recorded a double-double with 12 points and 11 boards.

Rockets use balanced offensive attack to defeat Jazz

The Houston Rockets had six players score at least nine points, led by point guard Patrick Beverley's 11 points, three assists and four rebounds, to defeat the Jazz, 85-71. They are now 2-0 this summer.

The Jazz were unable to get much of anything going on the offensive end, shooting 37.7 percent while going 3-for-17 on three-point attempts. First-round pick Trey Burke scored an inefficient 11 points and recorded just two assists while turning the ball over four times.

Victor Oladipo shines in Magic loss

Oladipo, who was taken with the No. 2 pick in the 2013 NBA Draft, continued to impress as the Magic fell to the Heat, 94-80. Oladipo scored a game-high 22 points with five rebounds and two assists, though he did turn the ball over five times. James Ennis paced Miami by scoring 17 of his team-high 19 points in the first half as Miami improved to 2-1 in Summer League play.
