Mike Miller has cleared amnesty waivers and is now an unrestricted free agent, ESPNcom's Brian Windhorst reported Thursday.

The San Antonio Spurs, Oklahoma City Thunder, Memphis Grizzlies and Houston Rockets are among teams interested in signing the 12-year veteran who spent the last three seasons with the Miami Heat, Windhorst said.

Miller is considering fusion surgery to repair bulging disks in his back, a factor that in part prevented the Cleveland Cavaliers from making a waiver claim on him, Yahoo! Sports' Adrian Wojnarowski reported. Miller considered having the surgery after the 2011-12 season but held off. He's played in a total of 98 games over the past two seasons, averaging 5.3 points and 2.9 rebounds for the Heat.

Miller, who went fifth overall to the Orlando Magic in the 2000 NBA draft, can now sign a free-agent deal with any team except Miami. He played for Orlando, the Memphis Grizzlies, the Minnesota Timberwolves and the Washington Wizards before signing as a free agent with Miami in the 2010 offseason.

Miami saved $12.8 million over the final two seasons of Miller's contract when it exercised the amnesty provision on Miller.
