Both Al Harrington and DeShawn Stevenson cleared waivers on Sunday, officially making them unrestricted free agents, according to ESPN's Marc Stein.

Harrington was set to be owed about $14.7 million from the Orlando Magic over the next two seasons, although only half of that was guaranteed. A buyout agreement wasn't reached, so Harrington will receive close to the guaranteed amount of his contract with Orlando. Because of this, the 33-year-old will likely be more willing to take the veteran's minimum from a contender.

Harrington played in just 10 games last season due to knee surgery, and at his age, there are questions about whether he can regain some of his old form. Just two seasons ago, the veteran forward averaged 14.2 points for the Denver Nuggets. If Harrington can bounce back and be that type of player again, he would be a nice weapon off the bench.

As for Stevenson, he was waived by the Atlanta Hawks in order to make room for DeMarre Carroll. Stevenson averaged 5.1 points and 2.2 rebounds in 56 games for the Hawks last season. The 32-year-old shot just 37.4-percent overall, but he did shoot 36.4 percent from 3-point land.
