
The best golfers in the world are in Western New York this week for the PGA Championship. The final major of the year gets underway at Oak Hill Country Club on Thursday and viewers will be able to watch a good portion of the first round live on television.
TNT will handle the first round broadcast with coverage running from 1 to 7 p.m. ET. Several notable players tee off in the afternoon, meaning viewers will be able to see the majority of their rounds. Phil Mickelson, Adam Scott, Rory McIlroy, Bubba Watson and Justin Rose are among the players who will tee off after live coverage begins.
In addition to the six hours of live television coverage, there will also be multiple online streams available. PGA.com will offer a live stream of two marquee groups as well as a steam dedicated to coverage of the Par 3 holes. Tiger Woods will be featured in the morning marquee group when he tees off with Keegan Bradley and Davis Love III at 8:35 a.m. Mickelson, Rose and Scott will be the afternoon featured group. The three 2013 major winners will begin their round at 1:45 p.m.
