The name may be different, but the NASCAR Sprint Cup series returns to Watkins Glen Sunday for the Cheez-It 355 at the Glen. This is the first year under the new sponsorship for the race, which was known as the Finger Lakes at the Glen 355 last year. The green flag for the race is scheduled 1:18 p.m. ET. ESPN's coverage of the broadcast starts at 1 p.m., but its prerace coverage starts at noon. Radio coverage can be found on Sirius XM channel 90 and motorracingnetwork.com.
Marcos Ambrose heads into the race in pole position. Earlier this week, Marcos Ambrose won the pole with a record-setting qualifying lap. His lap time of 128.241 mph broke the track-record set last year by Juan Pablo Montoya. Should Ambrose win, he'd become join Mark Martin and Jeff Gordon as the only racers to win three straight races at Watkins Glen.
Clint Bowyer and Martin Truex Jr. will start the race second and third, while AJ Allmendinger and Kyle Busch will round out the top five.
