Tiger Woods came up short in the final major of the season, but he nonetheless remains well ahead of the field in the latest World Golf Rankings. Woods has five victories this season, and outside of the majors, he's been a consistent contender. Phil Mickelson, Rory McIlroy, Adam Scott and Justin Rose round out the top five.

Jason Dufner capped a fantastic weekend with a PGA Championship victory, which not surprisingly moved him up in the rankings. (The majors are weighted more heavily than regular tournaments. Details here.) Dufner was 21st last week, but the win has him back in the top 10 at No. 8. He began 2013 in ninth place.

For the most part, the movement within the top 50 was minor shuffling. Jim Furyk, who was the runner up Sunday, moved up six spots to 21st. Henrik Stenson, the third-place finisher, moved up one spot to 10th. Stenson and Dufner replaced Luke Donald and Keegan Bradley in the top 10.
