Below is a collection of the reactions to Hunt's statement...
Interesting times in Kansas City. Clark Hunt's statement is strong. It's very... activist of him. Don't want anyone judging Chiefs fans.

Not a bad start, Clark Hunt. But people still want to hear more. kcchiefs.com/news/article-2…

Good job by Clark Hunt issuing a statement supporting #Chiefs fans. At some point he'll have to talk about Chiefs football but it's a start.

Clark Hunt's statement should've read: "I realize the cheers were directed at me. I apologize we haven't put a better team on the field."

Despite the length or that it's four days after incident, that statement from Clark Hunt was needed. #Chiefs

Top Spin, Herbie Teope: "It’s the story that apparently won’t go away quietly. But that’s what often happens when national media far removed from Kansas City decide to sink their teeth into an issue made very public by Chiefs right tackle Eric Winston following Week 5’s loss against the Baltimore Ravens."
ESPN Bill Williamson: "Hunt's statement didn't mention Winston, who is in his first season with the team, and I would guess his beef is not with the player, but the attention it caused. I'm sure the statement was released to ensure fans the team supports them and to put the situation to bed. Winston said he has moved on and now all we can do is wait to see the fan reaction when the 1-4 Chiefs return to Arrowhead Stadium on Oct. 28 against Oakland."
