Buffalo Bills wide receiver Da'Rick Rogers may not be one of the final wide receivers to make the team's roster, according to WGR 550 Sports Radio in Buffalo.
Rogers was an undrafted free agent signing by the Bills after the 2013 NFL Draft but has been inconsistent in camp. Given his history of off-the-field problems, coach Doug Marrone may be giving him a short leash.
The Bills could be in a tough spot with a deep wide receiver depth corps that includes Stevie Johnson, T.J. Graham, Robert Woods, Marquise Goodwin, Chris Hogan and Brad Smith. Johnson, Graham, Woods and Goodwin appear to be locks at this point, while Hogan has outperformed Rogers and Smith is able to contribute on special teams.
There is no doubt that Rogers is talented, but given his off-the-field baggage, he may not get the benefit of the doubt when it comes to roster cuts.
