With Thursday's weather continuing to play a role at the 2013 Barclays, Tiger Woods and several others will be forced to finish their second round on Saturday morning. Woods made it through 13 holes at 1-under when play was suspended due to darkness.
Woods, who shot 67 on Thursday, birdied three of his first five holes after starting his round after 4 p.m. ET. However, after making it through the first five holes in just 15 strokes, he bogeyed three of his next six to fall back to even-par for the day. When play stopped at 7:45 p.m., Woods' group had just teed off at No. 14.
When play resumes at 7:30 a.m. Saturday, Woods' playing partner, Matt Kuchar, will be atop the leaderboard at 10-under for the tournament and 5-under for the day. Kuchar was even through the first five holes before making his move; birdies on Nos. 6, 8, 9 10 and 13 pushed him just ahead of clubhouse leader Webb Simpson. Simpson finished at 5-under on the day and is 9-under through two rounds.
Keegan Bradley, Rickie Fowler and Gary Woodland had the best rounds of the day. Bradley set the Liberty National course record, carding a 8-under 63 just minutes after Fowler tied the record with 64. Woodland made a run at the record of his own, carding four birdies with a bogey in his first nine holes, then birdying another set of four on his second nine. Birdying his final hole of the day pushed his score for the tournament to 9-under, good for a second-place tie with Simpson.
The second round got off to a late start after several weather delays Thursday pushed some first-round action to Friday morning. For an hour and eight minutes, golfers were still on the course, finishing the first round while the second round groups had already began. That pushed back afternoon tee times to as early as 3 p.m. and as late as 4:30 p.m.
The current cut line is even-par and would include 78 players, according to PGATour.com. Here is the complete leaderboard.
