Georgia-Clemson, LSU-TCU, Oklahoma State-Mississippi State, and Alabama-Virginia Tech headline the opening Saturday of college football season. Enjoy it with us. Here is your full weekend TV schedule.

Yes it is, GameDay. Yes it is.

Here's what you need to know heading into the marquee matchup between Clemson and Georgia.

Where: Clemson, S.C.

When: 9 a.m. ET, ESPN. The game between No. 8 Clemson and No. 5 Georgia will kickoff at 8 p.m.

Vegas: Georgia is a 2-point favorite, over/under set at 71.

Other Notes And Statistics:

This is the second time in school history that Clemson has received a visit from College GameDay -- the first occurred in 2006, a 31-7 victory over No. 13 Georgia Tech.

The Tigers will hope that Saturday resembles their previous home GameDay appearance, because they have not done well on GameDay otherwise. Clemson is 0-4 in all other appearances, including the 2011 Orange Bowl, a 70-33 loss to West Virginia.

If you thought Clemson was snake-bitten by a GameDay curse, you should check out Georgia's record on GameDay of 2 wins and 13 losses.

Those 13 losses include three in the SEC Championship Game, and three in the Game Formerly Known As The World's Largest Outdoor Cocktail Party. The Bulldogs hosted GameDay on campus in 1998 and 2008, but lost both of those games as well.
