Star Georgia wide receiver Malcolm Mitchell suffered a knee injury in Saturday's game against Clemson while celebrating Todd Gurley's first quarter 75-yard touchdown run, via 247Sports. Reports say Mitchell landed awkwardly after jumping to celebrate the game-tying score.
The injury appears to be serious, as Gentry Estes of 247Sports noted Mitchell's knee was stabilized on the sidelines.
Players have been going by to console Malcolm Mitchell. Right knee has ice on it and is not moving. Signs look very bad on this one, folks.
