The second-overall pick in the 2009 NFL Draft is looking for work and the Tennessee Titans might be interested, as the team brought in offensive tackle Jason Smith for a visit, according to Adam Caplan of Sirius XM Radio.

Smith, 27, signed a six-year, $61.775 million deal with the St. Louis Rams as a rookie, but lasted only three seasons with the team before he accepted a pay cut and was subsequently traded to the New York Jets. After one year with the Jets, Smith was released.

He joined the New Orleans Saints for a short stint before re-joining the Jets in August, but was released in final cuts. Now a journeyman player in the NFL, Smith could be added by a team in a need of a cheap veteran that can play in a pinch.

The Titans are scheduled to kickoff the 2013 season with a road game against the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday.
