Update: Ohio State confirms Miller's knee is being braced and that he could return. ESPN reports Miller could be physically able to return, but he's done for the day.
Ohio State's star quarterback Braxton Miller was carted off the field in Saturday's game against San Diego State early in the first quarter after a hard hit by multiple Aztec defenders. ESPN is reporting he has an MCL issue. He is reportedly being braced and could return at some point, but we'll see about that.
The most noticeable aspect of the hit was Miller's helmet coming off, but Miller's left knee was examined, and he was carted off shortly thereafter.
Miller has a history of suffering scary injuries seemingly every other week. Last year against Purdue, he was taken to a hospital after a possible concussion, but was cleared.
Backup Kenny Guiton is in the game.
