Patriots tight end Zach Sudfeld is expected to be inactive versus the Jets on Thursday night due to a hamstring injury.
The report, from CSN New England's Tom Curran, just adds yet another name to the list of injured Patriots. Sudfeld injured his hamstring versus the Bills in Week One, and was essentially a non-factor. The rookie tight end caught zero passes, and one of his targets resulted in an interception.
Fantasy Spin: That settles it. Sudfeld can be comfortably benched for Week Two and likely beyond because of Rob Gronkowski's improving health and also due to his own unceremonious NFL debut. As a result, that leaves Stevan Ridley, Julian Edelman and Tom Brady as the only clear-cut fantasy starters for the Patriots in Week Two. Michael Hoomanawanui will be penciled-in to start at tight end, but he is not yet worth a look in fantasy leagues of any size.
