The Green Bay Packers have gotten off to a rough start against the Cincinnati Bengals. The Bengals lead, 14-0, halfway through the first quarter after a major special teams mistake.
Aaron Rodgers didn't even take the field for most of the first quarter. The Bengals took the opening kickoff and drove 80 yards over 5:40. They got the first points of the game on this ridiculous touchdown run by Giovani Bernard.
Things went further south for the Packers after that. They fumbled away the ensuing kickoff and the Bengals recovered at the 5-yard line. BenJarvus Green-Ellis took it in from two yards out to give the Bengals a 14-0 lead.
The Packers' offense finally took the field with 9:08 left in the first quarter, but their drive went nowhere and they were forced to punt. Green Bay is now dealing with an injury concern for Jermichael Finley, who went down after a shot to the helmet.
