Le'Veon Bell will suit up for the Pittsburgh Steelers in London on Sunday, according to Jay Glazer at Fox Sports. Per Glazer, Bell has "progressed much faster than [the Steelers] thought" from a Lisfranc injury he suffered in preseason against the Washington Redskins. He was initially expected to miss 6-8 weeks, but a return Sunday would put him back on a playing field one day shy of the 6-week mark.

The Steelers' coaches initally planned to bring back Bell after the team's bye week in Week 5. He is reportedly ready to play, however, barring a setback. Bell's return would be a good news for a running game that has been anemic this season. The Steelers rank 31st in the league averaging just 51.7 yards rushing per game so far this season.

Bell was drafted in the second round of the 2013 NFL Draft with the expectation that he would quickly become the Steelers' workhorse in the offensive backfield. He lasted just four carries into his second preseason game before suffering a foot injury, however.

At 6'1, 244 pounds, Bell brings a bruising running style with him from Michigan State. He rushed for 1,793 yards and 12 touchdowns on 382 (!) carries during his final year with the Spartans.
