Kansas City's Police Chief reports a death has occurred at Arrowhead Stadium.

Kansas City Police Chief Darryl Forte announced the investigation of a homicide that occurred in the parking lot of Arrowhead Stadium, home of the Kansas City Chiefs.

There is no official update from police at this time, but KCTV reported that a man and his son returned to their vehicle in Parking Lot A during the game and found someone "rifling through" it. A struggle reportedly broke out between the two men, with the man who was "rifling through" the vehicle dying during the fight.

Forte indicated two men are being held in custody for the death of another. The police chief said he plans to issue an update as soon as more information is available.

The reported death comes one year to the day after Kansas City linebacker Javon Belcher his girlfriend and mother of his three-month-old child before taking his own life in front of Chiefs teammates. The Chiefs organization has not released a statement at this time.

Update: Police Chief Forte indicated there was no fan rivalry involved in the death.
