Nearly two weeks after Marcus Smart and Oklahoma State blew out Memphis, the Tigers bounced back in a big way during Sunday night's rematch.

After being blown out by Oklahoma State by 21 points in their first meeting, the Memphis Tigers got their revenge in the Old Spice Classic on Sunday with a 73-68 win.

With under 20 seconds to go, Oklahoma State trailed by one and had a chance to win it. Marcus Smart drove in the lane but lost control of the ball, giving it right back to the Tigers. After two made free throws, OSU had another chance to tie. They didn't even get a shot up, with the ball bouncing out of bounds off Smart's knee. Two more Memphis free throws iced the game.

Memphis was led by Shaq Goodwin, who finished with 17 points, eight rebounds, two blocks and two steals. Chris Crawford did not shoot the ball particularly well, but he still managed to score 16 points. Michael Dixon chipped in with 12 off the bench.

Smart exploded for 39 points against Memphis on Nov. 19, but was held to just 12 points this time. The star guard forced a couple of poor shots and never really got in a rhythm, going 4-for-13 from the field and 0-for-5 from behind the arc. Phil Forte led the Cowboys with an efficient 19 points on just six shot attempts, hitting all eight of his free throws. As a team, OSU only recorded seven assists and committed 12 turnovers.
