They're currently a couple of points in arrears of Everton, who have started life under Roberto Martínez very impressively. They knocked four past Stoke on the weekend to extend their unbeaten streak to six matches, and they'll no doubt prove to be stubborn opponents for the Red Devils.
Moyes will be without Michael Carrick and Darren Fletcher through injury and illness again, while Robin van Persie will likely not recover from a groin problem in time to be involved. Phil Jones' suspension compounds their midfield woes. One-time United transfer target Leighton Baines is unavailable for Everton, alongside Arouna Koné and former United midfielder Darron Gibson.
Manchester United injuries and suspensions
Out: Michael Carrick (Achilles), Darren Fletcher (illness). In doubt: Robin van Persie (groin).
