Schalke doesn't have very many good players, and it always comes back to bite them. Hoffenheim jumped out to a 3-0 lead on Die Königsblauen with three goals in a fifteen minute stretch. Goals from Kai Herdling, Kevin Volland, and Roberto Firmino put Hoffenheim up 3-0 in the 35th minute, and Schalke could only manage a late goal from Jefferson Farfan.

December 4
Freiburg 1-2 Bayer Leverkusen

Wolfsburg 2-1 Ingolstadt

Eintracht Frankfurt 4-2 Sandhausen
Eintracht Frankfurt threw away a two goal lead, but they still managed to win 4-2 against Sandhausen on a hat trick from Joselu.
Augsburg 0-2 Bayern Munich
Arjen Robben started things beautifully for FC Bayern just a couple of minutes into the match. Robben's initial shot was saved, but he grabbed the rebound and put it over the line to give Bayern the 1-0 advantage after four minutes. Robben would then be forced out of the match after a horror tackle from Augsburg goalkeeper Marwin Hitz. Somehow, Hitz avoided being sent off. Robben doesn't appear to be seriously injury, luckily for Bayern. Thomas Müller grabbed a goal in the second half to put Augsburg away in a match completely controlled by Bayern.
