Russell Westbrook definitely looked healthy on Wednesday.
Russell Westbrook scored 27 points in 27 minutes as the Oklahoma City Thunder topped the Memphis Grizzlies, 116-100, on Wednesday night. The point guard added nine assists, six rebounds and two steals in one of his best performances this season.
With Kevin Durant scoring just 18 points, his worst scoring effort since Nov. 1, Westbrook stepped up and delivered a huge game. Jeremy Lamb also played well off the bench, adding 18 points on 7-of-9 shooting as OKC shot 56 percent overall. The Thunder also hit 27-of-33 from the charity stripe and held an advantage on the boards, 42-33.
Most of the Grizzlies struggled Wednesday, but point guard Mike Conley played well despite being matched up against Westbrook. He finished with 20 points and nine assists in the loss, the team's sixth in nine games.
With the win, Oklahoma City improves to 17-4 this season.
