Devan Dubnyk had some problems with this Dennis Seidenberg shot

This is not a great goal for Edmonton Oilers goalie Devan Dubnyk to give up against Dennis Seidenberg.

Before his first period goal on Thursday night it had been 27 games since Dennis Seidenberg last found the back of the net.

Fortunately for him that streak ended when he opened the scoring in Edmonton with this innocent looking wrist shot from just inside the blue line that somehow beat Devan Dubnyk. Actually, innocent doesn't even begin to describe this shot.

What in the world happened here?

That's not what you need from your goaltender against an obviously superior team. It didn't even seem like Seidenberg was actually trying to score on that shot.

Boston would go on to add two more goals in the first period, including a shorthanded goal from Brad Marchand.
