Dixon is considered a four-star by the 247sports composite. He is rated as the 106th-best player in the class, as well as the 16th-best wide receiver and the 15th-best player from the talent-rich state of Florida.
The Buckeyes received a big recruiting boost Monday, when five-star linebacker Raekwon McMillan committed to the program. Dixon would join four-stars Parris Campbell and Terry McLaurin as receivers in the class.
Alabama has the top-rated recruiting class in the country, and Dixon would join four-stars Cameron Sims and Derek Kief if he were to commit to the Tide.
Miami has the top-rated class in the ACC, and would join three-stars Braxton Berrios, Darrell Langham and Tyre Brady in the class.
