The Chicago Blackhawks are favored to repeat as Stanley Cup champions, according to the odds makers at Bovada. Chicago is given 11/2 odds to defend its championship, which would be the first time a team has done so since the Detroit Red Wings franchise accomplished the feat in the late 90s. The Blackhawks are the only team to win multiple Stanley Cups since the implementation of the salary cap system in 2005.
The Pittsburgh Penguins (13/2), St. Louis Blues (13/2), San Jose Sharks (15/2) and Boston Bruins (8/1) complete the top five odds lines. Here's a look at every team, courtesy of Bovada:
