The health of Rob Gronkowski and the NFL Draft's latest entry are making headlines on Tuesday.

Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski is set to undergo surgery on his torn anterior cruciate and medial collateral ligaments on Thursday with Dr. James Andrews, according to NFL Media's Ian Rapoport. Gronkowski suffered the knee injury in Week 14 against the Browns and was placed on injured reserve.

This is the latest in a litany of surgeries that Gronkowski has been forced to receive due to injury. He has undergone one ankle, two back and four forearm surgeries since 2009. He missed his entire final season at the University of Arizona while recovering from a back injury and has only played in 18 games over the last two years due to several ailments.

He has been a star when healthy. This season, he collected 39 passes for 592 receiving yards and four touchdowns in just seven games. Gronkowski signed a six-year, $54 million deal with the Patriots in 2012.

Henry Josey to enter 2014 NFL Draft

Missouri star running back Henry Josey is entering the 2014 NFL Draft. Josey is coming off an impressive performance in Missouri's AT&T Cotton Bowl victory over Oklahoma State. He capped off a terrific season with 92 rushing yards and three rushing touchdowns in the bowl game.

Josey was ranked second in the NCCA with 8.1 rushing yards per attempt during his sophomore season in 2011. He was forced to miss all of 2012 with a knee injury, but rebounded this season in a big way. Josey collected 1,166 rushing yards and 17 total touchdowns on 174 carries in his final year at Missouri.

Aaron Dobson misses practice for Patriots

Patriots wide receiver Aaron Dobson missed practice on Tuesday, according to Jeff Howe of the Boston Herald. Dobson is suffering from a foot injury, despite having an extra week to recover. The Patriots had a first-round bye to enter the playoffs as the No. 2 seed in the AFC.

The rookie has been a big part of the Patriots offense this season because of injuries to Rob Gronkowski and Danny Amendola. Dobson has caught 37 passes for 519 yards and four touchdowns this season. If Dobson is unable to play, quarterback Tom Brady will have to rely more on Julian Edelman, Kenbrell Thompkins and Amendola.

Jeremy Maclin hopes to return to Eagles

Eagles wide receiver Jeremy Maclin would prefer to stay in Philadelphia despite being a free agent in March, according to Philly.com. Maclin missed all of this season with torn ACL. He suffered the injury during his first training camp with new head coach Chip Kelly.

The former first-round pick has served as the Eagles No. 2 wide receiver opposite DeSean Jackson throughout this career. He was replaced in the lineup by Riley Cooper, who had career highs in yardage and touchdowns this season. Both Cooper and Maclin are set to become free agents and there is a possibility that the Eagles could sign one and let the other walk.

Maclin has alluded to being open to a one-year deal with the Eagles. He will likely need to prove that he can play on his surgically-restructured knee before receiving another long-term deal.
