The Warriors need another ball handler behind Stephen Curry and veteran wing man Andre Iguodala, who has served as the secondary ball handler and play maker. Toney Douglas has spelled 11.7 minutes in 21 games off the bench but he has battled a leg injury and has been mostly underwhelming this season.

If the recent Luol Dengtrade is the start of a Chicago rebuild, then Hinrich, whose contract expires after this season, is one of its most tradable assets. The veteran is averaging 7.8 points and 4.7 assists per game in 30.7 minutes, but he's shooting career lows in field goal percentage (34) and three point percentage (28.6).

According to Amick, Golden State also "remain(s) in the mix" for Nuggets' veteran point guard Andre Miller. Denver's veteran point guard is averaging 5.9 points and 3.3 assists in 19 minutes per game. He was recently suspended after a verbal altercation with Nuggets coach Brian Shaw. Miller is only guaranteed $2 million if he is waived before June 30th, 2014 or two days after the 2014 Draft, according to ShamSports.
