Real Madrid were never threatened and rolled over Osasuna into the quarterfinals for the Copa del Rey

Real Madrid had not troubles with Osasuna on Wednesday, easily defeating Los Rojillos 2-0 and taking their Round of 16 tie 4-0 on aggregate. Cristiano Ronaldo scored on a free kick -- with the help of a howler by Andrés -- and Angel Di María added a second.

Osasuna never looked confident from the opening kickoff, clearly struggling to handle Madrid's attacking speed and earning two quick yellow card defusing counter attacks. Still, they managed to survive nearly 22 minutes before Madrid basically ended the tie with not only the opening goal of the day, but an all important away goal as well.

Cristiano Ronaldo did the damage, sort of, sending a scorching free kick in on Andrés Fernandez from 20-yards out. Andrés blocked the shot but it bounced hard off the ground, between his legs, off his backside and over the line for a rather embarrassing howler and a Madrid 1-0 lead.

While Osasuna played well following the goal, the simply weren't able to generate any offense against Madrid.

Ten minutes into the second half Madrid finished off the tie and took a 2-0 lead on a goal from Angel di María. Isco's run down the left setup the chance as the midfielder got around his defender and pulled the ball back across the Osasuna box to Di Maria who blasted a shot past Andrés.

Fabio Coentrão picked up his second yellow card of the match in the 85th minute, needlessly sticking his leg out and catching Oier Sanjurjo in the leg as he went for a loose ball. Ultimately it didn't affect the result but it will mean a suspension for the defender.

Osasuna: Andrés, Oier, Flaño, Loties, Joan Oriol (Satrustegui 66'), Cejudo (Garcia 61'), Puñal, Raoul Loé, De las Cuevas (Riera 81'), Roberto Torres, Acuña

Goals: None

Real Madrid: Casillas, Arbeloa, Pepe, Ramos, Coentrão, Alonso (Casimiro 64'), Illarramendi, Di María, Isco, Ronaldo (Bale 62'), Jesé (Morata 69')

Goals: Ronaldo (22'), Di María (56')
