Super Bowl 2014 injury report: Percy Harvin practices following concussion

Top players returned to practice Thursday in preparation for the Super Bowl.

There are 10 days before Super Bowl XLVIII and the rosters are starting to take shape following practice on Thursday.

Seahawks wide receiver Percy Harvin practiced for the second straight day after sustaining a concussion against the New Orleans Saints in the divisional playoff round. His return to the field isn't wholly surprising, but it's reasurring for an offense that has lacked offensive pop for much of the playoffs.

Bob Condotta of the Seattle Times reports that outside linebacker K.J. Wright expects to be 100 percent for the game and will move back to weakside linebacker after injuring his foot. He operates differently from the Broncos linebacker in that Wright doesn't rush the passer out of the 4-3, but he's critical in stopping lateral running backs -- and can be of particular value in stopping swing passes, which the Broncos use heavily with Knowshon Moreno.

Moreno's status was uncertain after being limited on Wednesday with a rib injury. There's no indication how many opportunities he had in practice Thursday, but Lindsay Jones of the Denver Post confirms he did participate. Peyton Manning is the focal point of the team's offense, but Moreno allows for balance, making his status critical.
