One of the story lines heading into Monday's game between the Kansas City Chiefs and Pittsburgh Steelers will be Todd Haley facing his former team. Haley's tenure in Kansas City did not end well so there are plenty of people who think Haley will be eager to stick it to the Chiefs.
We don't know what Haley think about that but we do know that Romeo Crennel doesn't have a problem with Haley. Crennel talked to the Pittsburgh media this week and as expected he was asked about his relationship with Haley.
Our relationship goes way back to when I was with the New York Jets. That was the first time I met him and got to know him a little bit. I watched him work and then I followed his career throughout. We've had a good relationship the whole time.
Matt Cassel also spent a lot of time with Haley and, as expected, Cassel didn't say anything controversial about Haley when asked by the Pittsburgh media.
I think Coach Haley is a demanding coach. He expects a lot out of his players and he'll challenge you. He's not afraid to get in your face and let you know and hold you accountable, I guess is the best way to put it.
Demanding is a nice way to put it.
