Rickie Fowler, Peter Uihlein showboat with some flop shot wizardry

The Oklahoma State duo performs for the Instagram masses.

This is a little bit short game magic that's probably more commonplace on the PGA Tour than us weekend hackers could possibly imagine. Rickie Fowler and Peter Uihlein, two of the USA's top young players, spent some time this week working with Butch Harmon out west. Uihlein, the son of Acushnet (Titleiest and Footjoy) CEO Wally Uihlein, is also one of the many decorated Oklahoma State alums who jumped from that powerhouse program to the pros after an impressive amateur run. Fowler is likely the most recognizable face, thanks to his Sunday OSU orange but there are several in each field every week.

So the two Cowboys are presumably getting in some serious work with Harmon, or "Butchy" as Fowler calls him on his Instagram. But there was obviously still a little time for some showboating, and a reminder that no matter how good you think you are, you're miles behind a tour pro (h/t to Shane Bacon of Devil Ball)

According to the caption, that's a 25-foot fence they're flopping those balls up and over from just two paces away. It's not wedge wizard Phil Mickelson hitting shots backwards onto the green at Muirfield, but it's still pretty damn impressive.
