The Rockets overcame LeBron James and the Heat, and the Warriors overcome the Pacers on some late-game heroics.
LeBron James missed a three-pointer over Dwight Howard as the buzzer sounded in Houston, and the Rockets left their home court after a nail-biting 106-103 over the Heat on Tuesday night.
James followed up his 61-point performance on Monday with a 22-point effort this one, and Houston got 22 points and 16 boards from Howard, as well as 21 and 11 dimes from James Harden. It was a big win for the Rockets, who are now tied with the Trail Blazers for the third-best record in the conference.
Warriors 98, Pacers 96
Klay Thompson hit a turnaround jumper out of the post with less than a second remaining, and the Warriors went on to beat the league-leading Pacers, 98-96, after the shooting guard dropped his 24th and 25th points of the night.

Indiana shot less than 42 percent from the floor and hit just three of its 16 three-point attempts in the loss, while Golden State managed to hit 10 threes at a 50-percent clip.
Clippers 104, Suns 96
Life is getting very interesting on the Western Conference bubble, but the Clippers aren't concerning themselves with that. Blake Griffin and Company went into Phoenix and beat the Suns, 104-96, though it appeared Matt Barnes was the hero.
Barnes somehow went for 28 points, hitting 12 of his 17 shots including four three-pointers, Griffin put in 22 points, five rebounds and six assists and Darren Collison, who started next to Chris Paul, pitched in 18 points as the Clips snuck out with the win.
Thunder 125, 76ers 92
Oh boy. Since the trade deadline passed, Philadelphia has hardly resembled an NBA team; on Tuesday, the Thunder showed us what they do against that kind of competition. Russell Westbrook registered a 13-point, 10-rebound, 14-assist triple-double in just 20 minutes, and Kevin Durant popped off for 42 points along the way as Oklahoma City rolled to the 125-92 win.

The Thunder shot 57 percent to the 76ers' 34 percent, and they outrebounded Philly 57-38. This game just wasn't even close.
Spurs 122, Cavaliers 101
The Cavaliers held the Spurs to just 13 points in the first quarter, then it all spun out of control. San Antonio went on to score 109 points over the final three quarters, register a total of 39 assists on 43 made baskets and come out with the 122-101 win in Cleveland.
This was kind of a clinic. Danny Green scored 24 points in 23 minutes, and no Spur played more than 26 minutes the entire night. It was a rout. Kyrie Irving and Dion Waiters each put in 24 points while Spencer Hawes put up 20 points and 13 boards.
Pelicans 132, Lakers 125
The Pelicans scored more than the Lakers in this game, 132-125, which means they won. These two teams are both terrible and they're both beat to crap.
But Anthony Davis isn't terrible. The second-year forward went for 28 points and 15 rebounds, Tyreke Ein vans dropped 24 points and 11 assists, and Eric Gordon put up 28 points himself in the win. Pau Gasol put in 29 points and 12 boards and Jordan Farmar contributed 20 and eight assists for the Lakers.
