This is NHL passing at its best.
The beauty of this goal by the San Jose Sharks on Friday night, which gave them a 2-0 first period lead over the New York Islanders, is that it didn't involve any of their top playmakers being on the ice.
This is Martin Havlat, James Sheppard, Tommy Wingels and Jason Demers turning the Islanders into the Washington Generals.
Demers was the lucky recipient of that passing display, potting his fourth goal of the season. The only Sharks skater on the ice not to touch the puck during that sequence was defenseman Marc-Edouard Vlasic.
