Today is the first opportunity since Monday to hear from KC Chiefs head coach Romeo Crennel, which means we may finally be getting a Brandon Flowers update.
Flowers suffered an apparent injury in Tuesday's night practice. After one of the drills Flowers came walking off the field with a slight limp. He took his pads off on the sidelines and then hopped in the front seat of a golf cart and taken back to the locker room with about an hour remaining in practice. That's the last we saw of Flowers and all we know about his injury. It looks like a leg/foot/ankle something injury but we can't say for sure.

Neither Romeo nor the players were scheduled to speak after that night practice so we haven't heard from anyone in the organization regarding Flowers' injury. Romeo's scheduled to speak after today's 10:30 a.m. walk through and he will be asked about Flowers. (Odds on whether that's the first question asked: 2/3) Whether he gives a detailed answer to that question...that's another story. The Chiefs don't have to say anything about injuries right now.
For what it's worth, a couple of quotes from Mitch Holthus on 810 WHB last night: "I don't think it's anything serious" and "I'll be shocked if it's anything big." So, hopefully not.
The lack of bad news coming out from someone lends me to believe this is not a serious injury. (/Knocks on wood)
