Cincinnati Bengals fullback Orson Charles was arrested Monday morning after the former Georgia Bulldogs tight end allegedly pointed a firearm at another driver in Richmond, Ky., the night before, reports stated Tuesday. Charles was officially arrested for wanton endangerment.

Police reportedly believe it was a "road rage incident," and thus far,there has been no reports of any shots having been fired. Charles was selected in the fourth round of the 2012 NFL Draft less than two months after he was arrested for driving under the influence, so he has had off-the-field issues in the past. Whether or not that previous previous incident comes into play when it comes to potential league punishment is unclear, as it happened before Charles was in the NFL.
Charles played one season of tight end for Cincinnati before he was moved to fullback for the 2013 season. With the arrest, Jason Marcum of SB Nation's Bengals blog Cincy Jungle says that this could be the end of Charles in Cincinnati, as he was "already facing an uphill battle to keep hold of his roster spot this year."

Jim Kelly to begin chemo, radiation therapy
Former Buffalo Bills quarterback and NFL Hall of Famer Jim Kelly will have to forego surgery to treat the cancer spreading inside his head. Chemotherapy is now the primary option of treatment for the resurgent cancer, but said therapy has been postponed a week due to a fever and his need for an antibiotic. Kelly was not treated with chemotherapy the first time he was treated for cancer, so there's reason for optimism that it will be successful.
Greg Reid arrested during first week in NFL
Former Florida State cornerback Greg Reid as been arrested in Georgia on a probation violation. Reid was recently signed by the St. Louis Rams, and hadn't even been an NFL for a month. Reid was kicked off his college team for violating team rules, and was arrested in 2012. He was eligible for the 2013 NFL Draft, but he tore his ACL and surgery kept him from being drafted or signed as an undrafted free agent. The Rams finally gave him his first shot at the NFL, though his arrest could derail his chances of sticking in the league.
Harris signs RFA tender
Denver Broncos cornerback Chris Harris signed his one-year restricted free agent tender Tuesday. Harris will earn $2.187 million under the tender, and will arguably be underpaid. Though $2.187 million is no small chunk of change, Harris played exceptionally well last season and is an emerging star in the NFL. The fourth-year pro should have an expanded role next season with Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie departing in free agency and Champ Bailey being released. Harris will likely start alongside Aqib Talib, one of Denver's big free agent signings.

Steelers sign McCain
The Pittsburgh Steelers signed cornerback Brice McCain on Tuesday. McCain isn't exactly a big-name signing. The five-year veteran was released by the Houston Texans after the first year of a three-year, $5.25 million contract signed before the 2013 season. McCain performed poorly last year, putting up just one interception, seven passes defensed and 32 combined tackles. He is a nickel corner and a special teams player, and is in need of a change of scenery at this point.
Manning visiting Kansas City
The Kansas City Chiefs will visit with free agent safety Danieal Manning on Thursday. Manning was recently released by the Texans after the two sides could not agree on a pay cut or a restructured contract, and also after Manning reportedly failed a physical. It's unclear if Manning declined to re-do his deal outright or if the two sides were just too far apart on a restructuring, or if the Texans were simply too concerned with his injuries. Kansas City is in need of a starting safety.
Minnesota submits Super Bowl bid
The state of Minnesota has submitted a bid to be the host for Super Bowl LII in 2018. There's no guarantee that the bid will be accepted, but it's worth noting that the Vikings will have a new stadium to play in by the time the game rolls around. Obviously, the team can't host a Super Bowl at the Metrodome, but the new stadium is already underway.
Jets sign Ford
The New York Jets signed wide receiver/kick returner Jacoby Ford on Tuesday. Ford visited with the team on Monday, one of the few stops he has made this free agency period. Ford was primarily a return man with the Oakland Raiders, but flashed some play-making ability at the wide receiver position as well. Ford will likely be used as a kick returner in New York, and should push players like David Nelson and Stephen Hill for playing time on offense.
