Two nationally televised games with playoff implications highlight the NBA slate on Wednesday.

There are 12 games on the NBA slate Wednesday, with two superb nationally televised contests to enjoy. Let's take a look at the schedule.

Main course: Oklahoma City Thunder at Los Angeles Clippers

10:30 p.m. ET, ESPN

Two Western Conference heavyweights get together in a game that will have an effect on the No. 2 seed in the West. The Thunder are currently 1½ games ahead of the Clippers in the standings, and a victory would essentially sew up that No. 2 seed for Oklahoma City.

Both teams are coming off victories. The Thunder beat the Sacramento Kings on Tuesday, although Kevin Durant's streak of games with at least 25 points ended at 41. The Clippers destroyed the Los Angeles Lakers on Sunday behind a big game from Chris Paul. The Clippers have won two of the three previous meetings this season.

Appetizer: Miami Heat at Memphis Grizzlies

8 p.m. ET, ESPN

The Grizzlies are fighting for their playoff lives, and they face a tough test when the two-time defending champions come to town. Memphis is currently the No. 9 seed in the West, a full game behind the Phoenix Suns for the eighth and final playoff spot.

The Heat could be tired after a tough 88-87 loss to the Brooklyn Nets on Tuesday. Dwyane Wade has missed seven straight games with a hamstring injury and might not be available again. Miami beat Memphis at AmericanAirlines Arena on March 21.
