Will Douglas Murray be getting called back into the principals office for this hit?
Maybe Douglas Murray simply enjoyed his time off and wants to get another break before (or perhaps even during) the NHL playoffs.
In his first game back from a three-game suspension for elbowing Tampa Bay's Michael Kostka in the head, Murray was ejected in the second period on Thursday night for checking New York Islanders forward Johan Sundstrom from behind.
The only thing that could save Murray from another suspension is if the league determines that Sundstrom put himself into a vulnerable position by turning at the last minute (and he does seem to turn).
Still, that is not a good look to get kicked out of a game after you just returned from a suspension.
