The playoffs are here!
The Grizzlies beat the Thunder in five games in last year's playoffs, but the Thunder were without Russell Westbrook then and too much of the offensive pressure was put on Kevin Durant's shoulders. Westbrook is healthy this postseason and Reggie Jackson has taken clear steps forward. This isn't the same team that was knocked out in the Western Conference semi-finals.
Memphis clawed until the final week of the regular season to make the playoffs. With a win against the Mavericks on the last day of the regular season, the Grizzlies earned the No. 7 seed and a matchup with Oklahoma City. The Grizzlies knocked off the Thunder in last year's playoffs then were swept by the Spurs. They should be happy with their matchup.
