The tremendous fight between Floyd Mayweather and Marcos Maidana came to an end with Floyd Mayweather winning two scorecards with one scored a draw.
Marcos Maidana fought the fight of his life through eleven rounds against Floyd Mayweather and appeared very close on the scorecards of the media and fans on social media heading into the final round.
Mayweather came out and threw some decent shots before Maidana pushed forward again, looking to land against the ropes. Maidana dug to the body and the two men clinched up. Maidana then pushed Floyd into the ropes again and had some moments.
Mayweather finally landed a right hand after seeming to give away the start of the round. Mayweather came through with another good shot, but Maidana continued pushing forward, throwing his own shots.
Both men raised their hands at the bell, believing -- with good reason -- that they won the bout.
SB Nation gave the final round to Maidana, 10-9, making the SB Nation card a 114-114 draw in a shockingly close fight.
The official scorecards were 114-114, 117-111, 116-112 as Floyd Mayweather took the majority decision.
