Here's why Kevin Durant wont watch free throws

Winning the MVP and having your team deep in the playoffs seems good enough, but Kevin Durant is worried he's doing harm by watching things.

Kevin Durant is a stone-cold killer on the basketball court, heck his 32.0 points per game and .503 shooting are a testament to that, but the ice water in his veins doesn't extend to watching his teammates. In fact, the Thunder forward told News OK that he's bad luck.

Durant became our new favorite meme when he sat on the court, back turned to Russell Westbrook, unable to watch the final free throw of game five. It turns out this has become Durant's "thing" this season.

I've been doing that all year, especially late in the games. It's not like I don't trust my guys to make the free throws. I think I'm just bad luck. Every time I go to a Redskins game we lose. Every time I watch a Texas game we lose. Every time I watch something it's not going the way I want it to go. So I have to turn my head.

To be fair if he only went to games in 2013 and only saw the Redskins and Texas he'd only have a 52 percent chance to see a win. Maybe that's all Durant's fault, perhaps it's an outlier. Either way we'll continue to enjoy the meme.
