Who saw this coming: The 49ers have jumped out to a 17-0 lead over the Bears. 17-0 is not something you want to hear when you're facing the NFL's best defense like San Francisco is.
The Bears are giving up 10 yards per play -- 11 passes for 158 yards and 9 rushes for 49 yards. Colin Kaepernick looks like Aaron Rodgers using the entire field and connecting on almost everything (9-of-11). Vernon Davis, the most important receiver on the field, has nearly half of Kaepernick's yards.
It's not just the passing game as Kendall Hunter capped off the 49ers third scoring drive with a 14-yard run that included a missed tackle.
What's going on with the Bears defense? Were they not expecting Kaepernick, who is filling in for Alex Smith?
Seems to me #Bears were not expecting Kaepernick to play, and they're struggling to adjust.

Whatever it is, it's quickly turning their Monday night appearance into a Monday night beat down.
