2014 British Open weather forecast: Rain and wind should factor at Royal Liverpool

A couple of storm systems will bring winds and rain to the British Isle this weekend but not every day is wet and windy.

A couple of systems will work across the United Kingdon this weekend bringing with it a couple days of rain and wind to the Royal Liverpool Golf Club in Hoylake, England, for the 2014 British Open. Nice weather is expected Thursday for the opening round but a few storm systems crossing the British Isles will bring rain and some wind for the next couple of days. Detailed weather forecast below.

THURSDAY - OPENING ROUND WEATHER FORECAST
For the morning pairings, temperatures will be in the low 60s, with winds out of the ESE between 5 to 10 mph. Skies will be mostly sunny and afternoon temperatures will be in the low 70s. Winds will shift out of the northwest between 5 to 15 mph.

FRIDAY - SECOND ROUND WEATHER FORECAST
Mix of sunshine and clouds with morning temperatures in the mid 60s warming into the upper 70s by the afternoon. It will be a windy day as winds will be out of the southeast between 10 to 20 mph. Later in the afternoon there is a chance of isolated showers and thunderstorms. 

SATURDAY - THIRD ROUND WEATHER FORECAST
This is going to be the wettest day of the tournament. Off-and-on showers with occasional thunderstorms are possible. Temperatures will cool, with highs in the upper 60s and winds will be out of the north between 5 to 15 mph.

SUNDAY - FINAL ROUND WEATHER FORECAST
Final round will be drier but expect mostly cloudy skies with a spot or two of sunshine. Winds will be out of the west between 5 to 15 mph with a high temperature near 70 degrees.
