Despite playing with the second-team last week, Zac Stacy is still expected to be the Week 1 starter. We break down the fantasy implications.
The St. Louis Rams raised some eyebrows when running back Benny Cunningham got the first-team reps ahead of Zac Stacy in the team's third preseason game last week. Despite that move, head coach Jeff Fisher brushed off the concern, saying he wanted to see what he had in Cunningham:
Fisher on Cunningham starting at RB: "We just gave him a chance to run behind the first offensive line. We know what Zac can do."

On Monday, ESPN's Rams writer Nick Wagoner revealed his projected depth chart, which indeed had Stacy listed at the top.
Fantasy impact: Sam Bradford's injury makes the Rams' fantasy impact more clear-cut. St. Louis is going to be a run-heavy team, and Stacy is going to eat. For those concerned about defenses stacking the box, remember that Stacy put up quality RB1 numbers with Kellen Clemens last year. Shaun Hill is better than Clemens and should keep defenses honest. Stacy won't last past the second round in many fantasy drafts this week.
