Eric Decker is good to go against the Bears. We break down the fantasy implications.
New York Jets wide receiver Eric Decker is active and is expected to start against the Chicago Bears on Monday Night Football. He suffered a strained hamstring in Week 2 against the Green Bay Packers and was limited in practice this week.
The Jets offense was not the same last week when Decker was on the sidelines. They desperately need his size and speed on the outside to open things up, and he's also become quarterback Geno Smith's favorite target. On the season, he has nine catches, 137 yards and one score on 14 targets.
Fantasy impact: Chances are you didn't start Decker this week with his questionable status on Monday night. If you did, this is great news and he could have a nice outing. It's worth mentioning it's a little windy at Met Life Stadium, so it may be tough for Smith to get the ball down the field to Decker.
