Calvin Johnson missed practice on Wednesday. We break down the fantasy implications.
Detroit Lions receiver Calvin Johnson did not practice on Wednesday due to an ankle injury. He needed to get his ankle taped in the Week 3 win over the Green Bay Packers, but was able to return. All signs point to him being in the lineup to face the New York Jets on Week 4.
Megatron and the Lions were a bit of a letdown as far as production on offense goes, but their defense saved them. Johnson had six catches for 82 yards and no touchdowns in the win, which was his worst game of the season.
Fantasy impact: The Jets have arguably the worst corners in the NFL and they can't cover anyone. Johnson is going to have a field day and he's a good bet to be the No. 1 option this week. If his ankle gets worse, Golden Tate could get a few more targets, but there's obviously nothing to worry about here.
