Odell Beckham isn't going to play in Week 4. We break down the fantasy implications.
New York Giants receiver Odell Beckham Jr. will not play in Week 4 against Washington due to a hamstring strain. He has not made his NFL debut and has been dealing with his hamstring strain for multiple months.
He's had a couple aggravations and the Giants have had to manage his hamstring since basically the day he was drafted. Beckham was a first-round pick for the Giants and the team had high hopes for him, especially after allowing Hakeem Nicks to head to the Indianapolis Colts.
The team has since lowered its expectations and offensive coordinator Ben McAdoo has said he is not expecting much out of his rookie. He doesn't have a timetable to return and this is more of a week-to-week problem.
Fantasy impact: There is really no way he can be on almost any fantasy roster. With Beckham out, it's allowed tight end Larry Donnell to become one of the most targeted tight ends in the NFL while Rueben Randle isn't getting competition for snaps.
