The 2014 Major League Baseball playoffs will get underway a few days after the regular season ends on Sept. 28, beginning with the Wild Card Games, followed by the best-of-five Division Series, the best-of-seven League Championship Series, and the best-of-seven World Series.
But first, 10 of 30 major league teams have to qualify for the postseason. To date, 19 teams have been mathematically eliminated and nine have clinched.
