Coach Scott Shafer tried to bring perspective after Syracuse's loss to Louisville.
Syracuse lost 28-6 to Louisville Friday night. The Orange *almost* scored a touchdown, and got so excited about it that they pulled the touchdown horn. They have now lost three straight games. Head coach Scott Shafer tried to point out that things were not actually that bad in the postgame press conference:
Shafer: ISIS is out there cutting people's heads off. Real world has major problems, we're lucky to just be playing college football

It's not like Shafer went off his rocker or anything -- he was actually pretty calm (skip to the 2:10 mark)
Shafer is right to bring perspective here. I think we can all agree that Syracuse football is much, much, much, much, much, much, much better than terrorists murdering people.
