5-year-old with leukemia throws down dunk in Jazz scrimmage

Two years ago, five-year-old J.P. Gibson was diagnosed with acute lympoblastic leukemia. Monday, he signed with the Utah Jazz and joined them in their blue-vs.-white scrimmage ( the standard "Per team policy, financial terms were not released" is a nice touch).

In the third quarter, Gibson got his chance to shine, checking in for Toure' Murry, dodging a Steve Novak swipe, losing rookie Dante Exum in a pick-and-roll, and getting a boost from Rudy Gobert (his opponent!) for a tomahawk dunk.

Very good stuff, Jazz. And way to flush it, J.P. A lesser dunker could easily have rimmed that one.
