The San Francisco Giants closed out the Washington Nationals with a 3-2 victory in Game 4 of their NLDS on Tuesday night in San Francisco, closing out the best-of-five series. The Giants will advance to play the St. Louis Cardinals in the National League Championship Series.
The Cardinals beat the Dodgers, 3-2, earlier Tuesday in St. Louis, closing out Los Angeles in four games as well.
The NLCS will begin Saturday night at Busch Stadium in St. Louis on FOX, and the seven-game series will be televised by FOX or Fox Sports 1, with Joe Buck, Harold Reynolds, Tom Verducci and Ken Rosenthal on the call.
This is the fourth time the Giants and Cardinals have met in the NLCS, with St. Louis winning the series in 1987 and San Francisco prevailing in 2002 and 2012.
