A late pass gave Brad Keselowski the Nationwide Series victory at Charlotte.

Brad Keselowski passed teammate Ryan Blaney with 14 laps to go to win the Nationwide Series race Friday night at Charlotte Motor Speedway.

Following a multi-car accident on the backstretch, Blaney restarted in the lead with 19 laps to go. However, Keselowski, who had four fresh tires, reeled Blaney in and went on to win his fourth race of the season. The victory was Keselowski's 31st in Nationwide, moving him into a tie with Jack Ingram for fifth all-time.

"His car seemed to fall off, whether it was the two tires or just the nature of his car, I don't know, but it came back to us," Keselowski said.

Kyle Busch finished second, followed by Matt Kenseth, Blaney and Kyle Larson.

Championship leader Chase Elliott finished eighth to extend his advantage over JR Motorsports teammate Regan Smith, who finished 11th. Elliott holds a 42-point advantage over Smith with three races remaining.

The Nationwide Series takes a two-week hiatus, returning Nov. 1 at Texas Motor Speedway.
